Half Up Braid

This week I wanted to share a simple quick style that we do all too often in this house. We love braids. I think that’s pretty easy to guess. HA! But sometimes I don’t want to take the time to do “Anna braids” as my girl calls them, or anything to “fancy”. I don’t like hair in faces, it drives me crazy! So this style is easy enough to do while she eats her breakfast at the counter, keeps it out of her face, and is pretty dang cute.

Starting with pulling a top section up, just about at the temple, part that piece into three sections. Crossing the right section over top the middle, making that the new middle piece. Cross the left piece, over the middle, again creating a new middle. Cross the right section over the middle, creating a new middle. Cross the left section over the middle again creating a new middle. Cross the right over the middle, left over the middle, right over middle, left over middle, until you have come to the end of the hair, secure with an elastic.
