Flip Through Pigtails

Hola friends! I hope your breaks were all fantastic! I loved having some time together with my family, but I am so glad to be back to normal! I am hoping the sunshine doesn’t leave us though. I have enjoyed it too much! For today’s style, we are doing some simple pigtails jazzed up only slightly! Miss Addie here is a pigtail lover. BUT! They have to be straight pigtails. I am slowly learning what it is she likes, I mean look at that adorable perfect smile! Ha! So to add a little style to her plain ol’ pigtails, we tried some flip through pigtails.

Start by just parting the hair down the middle into two sections. Pull the section into a ponytail. Leave enough room between the scalp and the elastic to make it into a flip through, from the top to bottom. Then just pull it tighter to secure it, comb and smooth out the ponytails and you’re done! Well, probably do it on the other side as well, I would recommend that…haha! It made her happy to have “regular pigtails” but it made me happier knowing it was a little jazzed up.
