easy flip hair

Hi friends! I hope you have had a fabulous week! Lets get today started with a super quick and easy style for little ones. I do still do the flip throughs on my older as well. I taught my brother in law how to do these when his daughter was a small toddler because he wanted something easy and different for her, something that he could do himself on a busy, busy toddler. It makes such a difference just in the details. It’s an easy flip hairdo that just pulls a bit of hair back and out of the way.

My little one doesn’t sit as well as my older one for hairstyles. So this makes a great one for her. I start by parting a square on the top of the head. I do leave a little bit of a bang out just for detail. Putting that hair in an elastic NOT right at the scalp. Then using your finger or tail comb, make a hole in the hair between the scalp and the elastic. I flip the tail of the hair into the front of the hole and pull through to the back. Then pull tight. Of course, adding a bow is always the finishing touch. It’s as easy as that. The hardest part is getting the part straight. HA
