Halloween Party Ideas
I love planning parties that are simple, but make an impact. It is my opinion that the little details are what make a party memorable, and I am so excited to show you some of the little things that I planned for my daughter Addie’s 4th birthday. If you are looking for easy Halloween party ideas, this is the perfect place for you to be!
For decorations, I found a couple of banners at Target in the dollar spot. One was chalkboard and the other was a kraft paper banner. It was the perfect cost saving decoration, and since it is chalkboard, I can change it to be anything I want it to be!
For dinner, we kept it simple and delicious. French dip sandwiches, fruit, veggies, and chips with a spooky chocolate cake for dessert. The thing that made the food table extra awesome was the dry ice. I picked up a cauldron for $2 from Zurchers and dry ice from the grocery store. The smoke coming out of the cauldron was a huge hit!
Of course we had to have games! I bought monster potato sacks from Zurchers and we had sack races! It was fun to watch everyone trying to use the sacks while in their costumes. We also had a relay race with plastic eyeballs from the dollar store and a spoon. The kids took turns getting the eyes from one bucket to another in the fastest time.
A bat pinata and a couple of party favors were the next thing. The jack o lantern punch balloons from Oriental Trading were a HUGE hit. They were probably the most favorite part, and they were totally affordable. I also picked up some wax fangs which were a fun thing to have.
We finished off the night with a birthday cake of course. My mom made the cake and we used Oreos and mini chocolate chips to create the creepy monster eyes.
Altogether, it was such a fun night, and Addie loved all of it!
