Fall Tree Kid’s Craft
I have a love of crafts that include my kid’s cute little hands. This is one of those projects, and as a bonus, it is so simple! You will love this fall tree kid’s craft!
To get started, you’ll need:
- piece of paper
- brown colored pencil
- q-tips
- red, yellow, and orange paint
Begin by helping the little cutie trace their hand. If they are old enough to trace their own hand, it makes your job even easier.
To make the hand look even more like a tree, they will need to color in the “trunk” with the brown colored pencil.
Once the trunk is ready to go, they are ready to add the leaves. The easiest way to do this is to use q-tips, and use one per color. That way, the colors don’t get mixed, and they can switch between colors easily. Plus, it is easy clean up since you don’t have to clean out any brushes.
They can add as many or as few “leaves” as they would like until they feel like the tree is done. Addie also added a colorful ground because she was having fun mixing the colors down at the bottom of the page. That’s pretty much it. Easy, and fun for the kids. That is definitely my favorite kind of project. Oh, and in case you missed it, I have been posting fall/Halloween kid’s crafts all week long. Here are the projects from earlier this week.
