My Little Pony Obstacle Course
When I was planning Lillie’s birthday party, I wanted to find some new activities for the kids that I thought they would think were fun and different. As I was thinking about My Little Pony, I decided that it would be fun to do an obstacle course of some kind and since Rainbow Dash is infamous for her competitive spirit and is always racing (SO sad that I know this) I thought it would be fun to have our very own 500 meter Rainbow Dash.
I gave each of the kids a stick horse, (tomorrow I will be sharing the stick horses with you. I am kind of proud of those) and then set up the course. Rainbow Dash flies up in the clouds, so I made some cloud printables, printed them out and stuck them on dowels. These became the obstacles. The kids had to run between the clouds, zig-zagging down the yard and then back. I didn’t want to have to worry about hurt feelings, so instead of a race, this was just an obstacle course to see if they could complete the task. The kids thought it was a blast!
This was so simple to put together, but made for a good time. All you need is to download the printables I have made, print them out on your computer, cut them apart and then tape them to some wooden dowels.
