Pin the Tail on the Pony
The fact that we chose a My Little Pony themed party meant that we would OF COURSE have to do pin the tail on the pony. It is an easy to put together game that doesn’t cost a lot and the kids all think it is a BLAST! I decided that I wanted to do more than just the standard pony or donkey and came up with the idea that I should use one of the actual ponies from My Little Pony. I asked Lillie which one she would like, and she told me she wanted Pinkie Pie. That is how I came up with my “Pin the Tail on Pinkie Pie” activity for the birthday party.
I knew that the pony would need to be big to be able to be played, and I wanted it to be reusable. I decided that sending it to Costco to print it on photo paper would probably be the best route. That way it is printed in color as well as durable. I made it to be printed on a 16X20 poster size which costs $5 or $6 each. The pony is printed on one poster, and the tails are printed on another. This printable includes 6 tails.
I put a little piece of masking tape on the end of the tail for the kids to be able to stick it to the poster. It worked like a charm! If you would like to use this for your own pony party, you are more then welcome to! Printables are for personal use and only available to those that are subscribed to Just Between Friends. I am going to have to show all of this to my daughter. She might be having a My Little Pony bday after she sees this!
