Easy Gift Idea Using Printable Foil & Silhouette
If you missed it yesterday, Silhouette posted their Black Friday deals early! The discounts are HUGE!!! If you are thinking of getting a Silhouette machine, you definitely need to get this deal before it is gone. I wanted to show you an easy gift idea that I made using Silhouette and their printable gold foil. (You can pick up a pack of the gold foil for only $6 if you use the code BETWEEN at checkout)
My husband owns a company that provides in home care for seniors or anyone that might need care at home. We really like to show our employees and clients that we value them and so I decided to make some custom tags to attach to a bottle of sparkling cider to give as a gift. I really think that they look classy and represent our company well.
This is one of my favorite features of having a Silhouette. You can make your own designs or import logos into the design software which gives you SO many options. In this case, I was able to personalize my labels with our company logo.
Once you have your design created, you print it using your printer. It will print registration markings on the gold foil so that once it is printed, you put the foil onto your cutting mat and put it through the machine and then there is a laser that reads exactly where your design is before it starts to cut. The silhouette machine will cut out exactly around your printed design! It is so cool!
The possibilities are really endless with the gold foil. you should just trust me and go pick some up for yourself if you already have a machine. If you don’t have a machine, you NEED one. It will amaze you how much you can do with it once you have one of your own. Just go to http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/black to take advantage of the sale prices now! And don’t forget to enter the code BETWEEN at checkout!
I’m all about easy right now and this is perfect
