Snowflake Bunting
I am going to change seasons on you today. Not really too much of a change since it has been snowing in parts of the country in the last couple of weeks. I have been thinking about winter and decorating for winter a little bit and decided to whip something up. I used my super handy Silhouette adhesive card stock paper and it made this Snowflake Bunting a breeze!
I started by cutting out snowflake shapes that I downloaded from the Silhouette store. They have all sorts of different snowflake shapes, but these were some of my favorites.
Next, I simply used some glittered cardstock that I picked up from Michaels craft store in three different types. I cut them into rectangles making the plain glittered pieces the same size, but the paper that already had the snowflakes on it, I cut just a little bit smaller.
The rest is easy, it’s all about putting it together. I took all of the negative space out of the snowflakes and then adhered them to the glitter paper using nothing but the adhesive that was already on it. (score! No glue fingers for me!) After the snowflakes were attached, I cut the bottom corners of the glitter paper with a rounded corner paper punch. I think it just makes it look a little more finished then the straight edge.
Last thing you have to do is connect all of the papers together. I used twine to give it a more rustic down to earth look and simply hot glued it into place. Easy Peasy! It is the perfect addition to your winter decor because it can literally be used anywhere to give an extra little cute factor. (We all know how much the little extra cuteness adds!)
