My mom hosted a Halloween party last night for our little family, mostly for all the grand girls (since for some reason we only know how to make girls in my family.)  She told my sister and I that we were in charge of the entertainment for the night, so we got to work.  Charli (my sister) was in charge of the activities that involved food, and I was in charge of coming up with some fun and easy games for the kids.  We thought that a Pin the Spider on the Web game would be super fun and perfect for the party.  I got to work designing, and this is what I came up with.

Pin the Spider on the Web Printable 4

It measures 3 feet X 4 feet and you are in luck because I am sharing it with you today!  I printed it at the Fed Ex store for $9 and it only took me 10 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out for them to print it off.  Super fast and easy!  This is the perfect last minute game for your kids classes or for a fun Halloween party.

To print this off, first, make sure that you are following Just Between Friends.  Printables are for followers of Just Between Friends only.  Got that one covered?  Great!  Next, you just need to click the file below and the printable will be ready to go for you.  I emailed it to myself and then was able to email it to the Fed Ex store once I was there to give them the file.  Super easy and they will walk you through it.

We bought some giant plastic tarantulas and just rolled a piece of duct tape and stuck it to the bottom to get them to stick to the paper.  It worked like a charm.

The only other thing that you need is a blindfold and you are ready to go!  If I was using this with a little bit of an older group, I would have had them make some spiders first and then use them to pin onto the web.  I think it would have been even more fun for them to be able to use their own spiders in this game.  Since the majority of the kids playing last night were 2 years old, I figured it would be best to supply the spiders.  It was definitely fun to hear them squeal when they saw the huge spiders!
