Fall Mantel
Isn’t decorating for fall so much fun?! I know it is my favorite time of year to decorate my house.
This post is kind of two parts. I wanted to talk about my fall mantel decorations and decorating on a budget, but I also need to talk about the fact that I totally re-did my entire mantel. Today we will discuss the decorations, and tomorrow I will show you the full transformation that only cost me $20 to do.
Here is my mantel all ready for fall. I already posted about how to make your own wheat wreath, so you can go find that tutorial. I need to write a quick tutorial for how I added the awesome burlap to my square frame that I will post Friday, and then the rest of the items on my mantel were either thrifted or bought. Let me show you really quickly where everything came from.
Items NOT from the thrift store:
- Frame holder: Rod Works $15
- Mustard Colored candle holder: Hobby Lobby $12
- Small Pumpkin strands: Tai Pan $5
- Live Pumpkins: Grocery Store $3
Items from the thrift store:
- Frame with oval insert: $1
- Square Frame: $1
- Glass Vase: $1
- Wooden Tray: $3
I love the subtlety of the colors all together. It just is calming really. Now, the question is, do you use finds from the thrift store in your holiday decorations? What has been your favorite thing you’ve ever found? I would LOVE to hear all about it!
Cute! I love decorating for Fall, too. So cozy!
