Pinwheel Hair Bows
It’s day two in our Summer Party Series and today I am really excited to show you how to make some pinwheel hair bows that will be perfect for the 4th of July! These little tiny pinwheels just make me squeal with delight because of how stinkin cute they are. Seriously. Plus they are really easy to make. They were the perfect accessory for Addie to wear with our perfect parade outfits from yesterday. See how cute she is? The little bows were so sweet on each of her pigtails.
Supplies:
- Glitter Ribbon
- Hot glue
- Hair Clip
- Coordinating Ribbon
Start by cutting a square piece of glitter ribbon. Then make a cut that goes from each corner into the middle of the square. Place a small dot of hot glue into the center of the square and fold every other corner into the center and press it into the glue. Next, wrap your hair clip with the coordinating ribbon using hot glue to hold it into place. Last, hot glue the pinwheel onto the clip and you’re done!
These really are so simple to make, and I loved the way that they looked in Addie’s hair. If you wanted to make them bigger, you could always go buy some glitter felt and use that. Then you could make the square bigger in the beginning.
Now you need to go over and see the amazing cake that Jesseca made for our summer party. It was delicious! I hope you are enjoying our summer series as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
I love these! So cute and simple! I think my daughter is going to need some of her own!
I hope you come link up with our party this week and share these clips!

These are darling! So little and simple, but totally make the outfit!
I wish my two girls were this little again. But these are so cute!!!
LOVE these!
These are the cutest bows I think I’ve ever seen. I have been looking up information on how to make a bow, since my daughter just joined cheer camp this summer. I have a feeling bows and ribbons are going to be in my near future. Thanks so much for these cute bows though, I may have to make some of these for my niece!
