The last wood project I made was a cake stand! I used an ENORMOUS 18″ trunk (not really enormous, but you get the idea.) and fashioned a beautiful trunk cake stand for a rustic winter wedding cake. It turned out quite AHmazing, if I am saying so myself =)
I like that last week it was two A names and this week its two D names, so now its time for two H names!
Does shelves in the garage count? Boring. I know.

Yes, I use wood a lot in projects. I enjoy making signs. I’m a little scared of power tools, but my husband is very good at cutting things to make them just the right size!
In high school I took a woodshop class and ever since have loved making furniture out of scraps of wood! I’ve made many things but never thought to make a sign! I would love to win!

My last project was an arrow sign with painted word party
Last Summer I used wood pieces as platforms and covered them with foam and fabric to create crate seats for my classroom library. My current project is using a large wooden 3 to make a classroom door wreath.
I am in the process of making fire crackers with 4×4’s. In the past, I have made Halloween decor, cupcakes, and stands. Its great!
I did just use a wooden plaque to make a “key holder” for our new home, would love to have more for DIY projects for the new house!
