Blessing Blanket

I haven’t told you, but at the end of October, I will be having a little GIRL!  This means I will have two little girls to make hair bows and dresses for and I can’t wait.  Since we already have all the girl clothes we could possibly ever need (ha ha, ya right.  you can never have enough pink clothing) I wanted to make something for our little baby that would be specifically just for her.

This blanket will be used on her blessing day.  I originally thought about just making it white, but I thought it would be sweet to use pink instead.  I just used a granny square pattern, added rosettes and a scalloped trim to finish it all off.

I just can’t wait to wrap our little one in this blanket and give her a snuggle.
