I am so excited to show you what I have been working on for my daughter Lillie’s room.  She LOVES to read so I decided that I should make the books a little more accessible for her.  This is what I came up with.  I hung the shelves extra low so that she could reach the books without a problem on the bottom shelf.  Then the top shelf I hung a little higher so that as she grows she can use the books that are a little more likely to rip.

Remember how I told you I have been playing with my vinyl program?  Lookie here:

And here:

It turned out just like I had envisioned it.
I also brought my rocking chair from when I was  little girl over from my parents house and it goes perfectly in the corner for her to sit and read in.  (I still need to do something to it to get rid of the stickers I put on the seat as a child.)

The best part of this project is that I just used scrap wood so it was pretty much free.  I think I spent maybe $7 on the WHOLE THING!  If anyone is interested in a tutorial, I would be happy to post one.  Just let me know.

Post Edit:
You can find the tutorial here.

Hope you like it!
