Easy Spring Decor

I have a really fun and easy tutorial to share with you today!  This is the perfect Spring Decor to add to any room or on a shelf for a little pop of color that is sure to make you smile.  Let’s get right to it!

Supplies: (can all be purchased at your local craft store)

• Wire basket
• Jar or some sort of container that fits inside of the basket
• Flowers
• Moss
• Jute

Begin by putting moss around the inside of the wire basket.  I put the jar inside every now and then to make sure I didn’t over fill and that the container would still fit inside.  Once you have enough moss to line the basket, place your container inside and make sure that it is in there nice and snug.  Next, I took the yellow flowers and cut the stem down to size so that it would fit into the container.  Next, I wanted to cover the jar so it wasn’t noticed so I put more moss around the top of the basket covering up the jar.  Then I added some leaves to give it a little more oomph.  Last, I tied some jute around the basket and ta-da!  It is done!

See?!  I told you this was super fast and easy!  I love the way it looks and it really can go anywhere!  I currently have it on a bookshelf next to my family photo.  It is a fun and bright pop of color that is perfect for welcoming in spring, and then you can leave it up all year long if you’d like.
