Thanksgiving Centerpieces and Turkey Favors
For Thanksgiving this year, my husband’s side of the family is getting together for a big party. There will be tons of people which means that everyone gets an assignment. Several of us are assigned to bring Thanksgiving Centerpieces for the tables, so I decided to get a head start and get mine ready so that I am not scrambling at the last minute to pull it together.
Everything that was used to create this was bought at Hobby Lobby. I found the pumpkins and knew it would be fun if I could make it personalized with a monogram and then I got various fall foliage and a gold ribbon to help complete the look. I really couldn’t have done this without the help of my mom though. She is a whiz at putting centerpieces together. It was fun to sit down with her last night and get it pulled together.
My mom was the one that suggested red berries should be added to the mix, and I think it gives it just the right pop of color that it needed. To put it together, we started with the bow and then hot glued the leaves, pinecone branches and flowers into the bow so that it all worked together nicely.
There are also a TON of kids that will be at the party, and I wanted to include something on my table that would be fun for them (and the adults too!) so I put together these fun Turkey Favors. Who doesn’t like a little sweet treat in a cute little box?!
They are so simple to make! If you have a silhouette, you can find the pattern in their online store. You just have to have the different colors of paper to make it all work together, use a glue stick to hold it together and ta-da! I did use hot glue for the eyes, but the rest was done with just a glue stick.
I really like to keep things simple which is why I went with these for my table. I think it will be perfect for our family gathering!
I LOVE those table favors – SO adorable – pinning for sure!
Those little turkey’s are darling! How tall are those pumpkins? Did they have smaller ones?
Super cute! Thanksgiving is just my little family this year (though we do get to have my whole family here for Christmas!) So I will just do what I feel like getting done 🙂 So far, I have glitter pumpkins for the centerpiece.
oh my goodness the chevron feathers are the best! pinning
I would like a sample of the thanksgiving turkey favor
Is there a template for the darling turkey centerpiece favors. The little box and turkey. Want to make!
Hi! I know this is a long shot, as this is an old post. But I”m wondering if you can share the link to silhouette template. I am searching on their website & have not been able to find it. Unless it’s been removed…
Thanks for your help!
Never-mind! Of course I found it, after I posted this question. 😀
